Bodhi Flow™ Vinyasa

with Syl & Beth
Class held Wed & Friday Mornings 8:30-10am
& Monday Evenings 7-8:30pm
"Shed your EGO at the door and unfold your power"

Bodhi Flow™ is a slow vinyasa, (Power Yoga) class with a therapeutic emphasis, that actually gives you time to feel the "Power" in your Yoga.   If you have ever wished you had more time between jumping back and jumping forward, this is your class.

Bodhi Flow™ is a practice of moving through four "viny-sequences" with an "Eye" toward, freeing lockdown in your CORE, that can result from other styles of Power Yoga and workouts.  The focus in this class is to "open up" your:  Lumbar Spine, Psoas and QL muscles, that will result in markedly freer movement throughout the rest of the body (as well as the correct use of yoga bandhas).   The Bodhi Flow™ is followed with a variety of attentive transitions between Yoga Asana (postures) including backbends, seated & balancing postures, inversions and twists, followed by Savasana (final relaxation).

Beginners will appreciate the slowed tempo, as they learn new posters and movement...Advanced students often comment:  "This practice is just as challenging as traditional Power Yoga, but it unlocks all my tight spots that I can't seem to get to!".

Kundalini Style Yoga

with Justine
Class held Thurs 7-8:30pm
"The Spinning Class of Yogas"

Kundalini Yoga uses movement, sound current, breath and meditation to relax and enliven. It is a great way to recharge and heal your body quickly, by awakening cleansing energy from your spine, out-ward.  Students usually feel this effect with in the first few moments of practice.
Kundalini practice is a fast paced clearing of the body and mind, through sweat, stimulating digestion, and opening all the body's energy channels, followed by a short meditation and savasana.

The Kundalini style of yoga focuses less on specific hatha postures and more on how well you can move the energy through your body.  It is appropriate for all levels. Students move at their own pace under the instructor's guidance and encouragement.  Traditionally, the instructor participates with the students in class.

Americans could think of Kundalini yoga as the "enlightened spinning class" of yoga styles.
