The Evolution of Yoga Vinyasa

"Shed your EGO at the door and unfold your power"
The Bodhi Flow™ is your power class, slowed down. The focus in this
class is to "open up" your Lumbar Spine, Psoas and QL muscles, through a
slow paced vinyasa. You will love the feel of scrolling deeper
through your postures using greater core awareness. Once you learn how
to work your flow with “time under tension”, rather than fast repitition, you will find strength,
breath, and yummy focus that can’t be accessed in traditional power yoga classes.
There are two options for practicing the Bodhi Flow™:
BodhiFlow™ Edges
with Andrea
Class held Sat 8:30-10am
For more intense flow and follow-up asana practice,
including back-bend, balancing poses and inversions that will challenge
your body, mind and soul.
BodhiFlow™ Gentle
with Michael & Karen
Class held Wed & Friday Mornings 8:30-10am
& Tuesday Evenings 6:30-7:45pm
For more flowing intrinsic, and sustained agile
movements followed by an easier asana practice that will leave you
feeling profoundly good.
All Bodhi Flow™ Classes end with restorative twists and decompressing poses, followed by long, deep Savasana (final relaxation).
Participating in a regular Bodhi Flow™class will increase your stamina and vigor.

BodhiYin™
Yoga Restorative

with Syl, Frances, & Michael and Andrea

"Proof that there is LIFE after Stress"
BodhiYin™ Yoga's focus is on intrinsic movement. This class includes some of the deepest restorative yoga you have ever done. Seated mostly on the floor, we use slow, deep, non-repetitive movements as the foundation for each restorative yoga pose. Learning to move through stillness, using yoga bolsters and props, releases you from physical and emotional lock down in a totally unique way.
Participating in these classes brings you a greater sense of rhythm and balance in normal daily activities, and supports a deeper practice in all other forms of Yoga and Physical Fitness. (Techniques in this class are also appropriate yoga for early to mid-term pregnancy).
All BodhiYin™Yoga Restorative classes help you learn new levels of letting go of chronic pain and stress on your body, mind and spirit.

BodhiSpin™
Kundalini Style Yoga
with Katie, Justine & Michael
Class held Tues Morning 8:30-10am & Thurs Eve 6:30-7:45pm
Proof that there is LIFE after Stress
BodhiSpin™Kundalini Style Yoga uses fast, repetitive movement and breathing to enliven you from your spine outward. It is a great way to recharge and heal your body quickly, by awakening cleansing energy to gently circulate throughout your whole body. Students usually feel this “circulating energy” effect with in the first few moments of practice. Kundalini practice is a fast paced cleansing of the body and mind, through sweat, stimulating digestion, and opening all the body's energy channels, followed by a 15-minute meditation to integrate the energy movement and Savasana.

BodhiLiving Movement™
Diving into the Fluid Body Matrix
with Syl Class held Wed 10:15-11:30am
"Unfold better health through the wisdom of the Fluid Matrix"
The BodhiLiving Movment™ is based in Emily Conrad's Continuum Movement Practice.
Class is spent on traditional yoga mats, covered with blankets & bolsters. We learn to use natural, intrinsic sounds of rebalance, (like sighing, for example) to create deep intrinsic movement through the body's fluid matrix of lymphatic flow and cellular interstitial fluid.
If you were to watch living movement, it would look like we all dropped into the incredible healing energy of the "morning stretch". Spending time dedicated to this type of, "snail's pace" movement is incredibly healing for body, mind and soul. Particularly beneficial to students who are recovering from intense diagnoses or chronic illness/injury, or those who just want to learn to roll into better health.
BodhiBeginner's Practice™
Perfect Introduction to Yoga

"Best way to Learn the Practice of Yoga"
The BodhiBeginner's Practice™ is based taught by great teachers that will help you feel right at home on a yoga mat.
During your yoga class you will learn:
Sacred Breath (four different types of yoga breathing to heal depression, anxiety, insomnia and more)
Strengths of Flexibiltiy (increasing flexibility in your tight spots, while increasing strengths through your weaker areas)

"Fusion Fitness of Yoga, Martial Arts & Dance"
Nia combines Dance and Yoga movements and heart-pumping martial arts moves infused with subtle therapeutic techniques designed to heighten body awareness and Sensory IQ. The Nia workout is generally performed in bare feet and, through the use of music and movement, each Nia experience is uniquely crafted to both calm and invigorate. A Nia workout delivers cardiovascular and whole body conditioning for the body, mind, emotions and spirit. "NIA" is Swahili for "dancing with purpose.

"Cultivating the Ancient Art of Childhood"

During this class Syl and Sandra start things off as you and your child will learn yoga postures, self-expression and creative ways for crossing the bridge into growing up into “big-kid-hood”. Classes focus on learning yoga poses like the Cobra, butterfly, pheonix and many other yoga poses and inspiring activities, as we travel to bambo jungles of India, out into to space and back to the tree-tops of planet EARTH! Each class teaches focus, kid-empowerment skills, and self-respect. Child's Play Kids Yoga Play runs in 8-class pass punch cards with Tuition $80, for mom mom and first tot, ($65. if adult is enrolled at Bodhi Yoga™) Additional siblings $20. for the 8-weeks. The perfect place to cultivate playful parents.

Bodhi Yoga™ Teacher Practicum Classes
The Practicum Classes are lead by Certification Candidates that are working toward their Bodhi Yoga™ 200-hour Teacher Certification Award.
Practicum Classes are by invitation only to friends and family of the instructor, and are FREE for Bodhi Yoga™ Monthly Unlimited Members. In participating, you may be asked to complete a short evaluation form for the instructor.
